Aspen Public Radio Job Opening.

Aspen Public Radio is looking for a News Director. Anyone looking for a low-paying job in a high-cost area of Colorado? Trust-funders or millionaires with journalism degrees might have an edge here. Or maybe they'll let you telecommute from somewhere else? Denver perhaps?

You sure that's a low-paying job? What, exactly is the salary? I was under the impression that KAJX had to pay pretty well to attract applicants to an area with such a high cost of living

Aspen Public Radio does offer competitive salaries because of the difficult housing market here. Plus, we have three full-time reporters. I can't think of another station in a market our size that has three full-time reporters. And come on, the view out our front window is Aspen Mountain. And yes, you are allowed to go skiing for a few hours in the middle of the day when you work here.
